At the Lectern has learned the State Bar will be hosting an event on amicus curiae brief writing at its offices in the City by the Bay on November 28.  The distinguished panel will include Supreme Court Justice Kathryn Werdegar, Ninth Circuit Judge Marsha Berzon, Michelle Friedland of Munger Tolles and Jocelyn Larkin of the Impact Fund.  Moderating the panel will be Aimee Feinberg, director of the new California Supreme Court Clinic at King Hall, the UC Davis Law School.  This sounds like a “don’t miss” event.
