Electronic filing rules for the Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal are changing beginning January 1.  The amendments are to rules 8.70 and 8.75, as shown on this document, beginning at page 20.

Among other things, the changes add definitions of “electronic signature” and “secure electronic signature,” and they alter the process for submitting documents “signed” under penalty of perjury and those “signed” by multiple persons.
