Antonia Hernández, president of the California Community Foundation and the former president of the Mexican American Legal Defense Fund, writes in a Times of San Diego op-ed that, for California’s next Attorney General, “Although many traditional politicians have been floated, there is no better candidate with more experience or visionary leadership than California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu.” She says that Governor Gavin Newsom’s appointment of Liu would be “an inspired choice.”
