Cheryl Miller reported in The Recorder about Justice Goodwin Liu’s address to the graduates of USC’s Gould School of Law last week.

Justice Liu decided to not join a boycott organized by at least two scheduled speakers at other graduation ceremonies in response to the university’s canceling a pro-Palestinian student’s valedictory address and its calling the police to arrest student demonstrators. He told the attending graduates, “I figured you’re showing up, so I’m showing up.”

Video of Liu’s address is here.
